Love You So Very Much

Today I wanted to share with you a card I created using new Stampin’ Up! items from the January to June 2021 mini catalog. This catalog is one of my favorites so far and I just can’t wait to get more goodies!

I started my card by stamping the flowers and the leaves from the Forever & Always stamp set with my versamark pad on a piece of blushing bride cardstock (4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″) and a piece of pear pizzazz cardstock (4 1/4 x 5 1/2″). I then used my white embossing powder and my heat tool to emboss the flowers and leaves. Next, I cut them out using the coordinating dies and my die cutting machine.

Next I stamped the “You So Very Much” sentiment on a piece of basic black cardstock (1 1/2″ x 3 1/2″) with my versamark pad and used my white embossing powder and heat tool to emboss it. I cut this piece out using the large banner that comes in the Always dies. I also decided to take some basic black cardstock and cut out the world love with my dies and die cutting machine.

I decided I didn’t want just a white background, but didn’t want to stamp anything because I thought it would make it too busy so instead I used my Woodland embossing folder to give my white layer some texture. The Woodland embossing folder is one of my favorites and I think it really makes everything come together. I layered this on a piece of blushing bride cardstock (4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″) and then I adhered it to my card base (basic white thick cardstock cut at 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″).

I then started layering all of my cut outs and sentiment on top of my white embossed layer. I adhered two of the flowers, the leaves, the word Love, and the sentiment using my multipurpose liquid glue to my card. I used Stampin’ dimensionals to adhere the third flower.

I really love the way this card turned out and I hope you do too.

Have a great day!
