Forever & Always Stampin’ Up Card

I really enjoyed making today’s card. I have to say that I’m really loving the Always & Forever bundle so I will probably be making a lot of cards with it.

The card I made is really quick and simple. I started by cutting a piece of basic white cardstock at 4 1/4″ x 11″ and then I scored it at 5 1/2″ to make my card base.

Next, I cut a piece of basic white cardstock at 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″. I then took a piece of the Love You Always specialty designer series paper and cut it at 3 7/8″ x 3 1/2″, then I cut the top part diagonally as you can see in the picture. I adhered this piece to the basic white layer.

I didn’t like the way the DSP looked right next to the basic white cardstock so I decided to add a 1/2″ wide strip of basic black cardstock right above the DSP. The length is not that important, just make sure it goes all the way across your basic white layer. If it’s too long after you adhere it, just cut the excess off.

I also cut a layer of basic black cardstock at 4″ x 5 1/4″ and then adhered my basic white layer on this basic black layer. Then I adhered it to my card base.

Since I already had my basic black cardstock out, I decided to go ahead and cut out the word “Always” using my Always dies and my die cutting machine. I added the word to the bottom of my card using my multipurpose liquid glue.

I then stamped the flowers (I used the small flower) and the “Forever &” sentiment using my versamark pad and white embossing powder on a piece of blushing bride cardstock and basic black cardstock. I cut them out using my Always dies. For the sentiment, I used the medium banner.

I also used the Many Hearts dies (which are available in a bundle) to cut out the small leaves and the heart. I used pear pizzazz cardstock for the leaves and flirty flamingo cardstock for the heart.

Finally, I adhered all of my leaves, flowers, and sentiment to my card using multipurpose liquid glue. I thought the card needed a little bit of dimension so I used a mini dimensional to adhere the heart.

I hope you like today’s card and don’t forget to subscribe, like, and share!

Have a great!
