Making a list…Stampin’ Up Holiday catalog 2019

Hello,

So last Tuesday, I was able to take a look at the brand new Stampin’ Up! Holiday catalog l, and I’m really excited about it! I honestly think this is one of the best holiday catalogs.

I know this might be hard to believe LOL, but I have already started making my list because one of the perks of being a demonstrator is that we get to preorder from the holiday catalog during August, even though the catalog doesn’t actually go live until September 1st. I cannot wait to get my hands on those amazing products and start working on my holiday cards!

Have you started making your shopping list? Wait…what?!? You don’t have a catalog?? Message me and I will send you one!

Have a great day!

Rainy days are perfect for cardmaking!

Hello,

One of my favorite things about cardmaking is that I can practically do it anywhere or anytime I want to, I dont have to rely on fancy “tools” to make a beautiful card. I especially love making cards during a rainy day.

That’s why on Saturday, when we had a really bad storm that caused a power outage in my neighborhood, I decided to make some cards with my little girls.

Here are the cards we made. I hope you love them as much as I do! Which one is your favorite?

Picture Perfect Party Suite – Day 4

Hello,

I hope you had an amazing weekend and had some time to make some cards. I actually spent my weekend getting everything ready for my Picture Perfect Party workshop.

Today, I want to share another card I made using the Picture Perfect Party Suite.

I used Whisper White cardstock for the card base which measures 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″. For the first layer, I used Peekaboo Peach cardstock, 5 1/4″ x 4″. I decided to use the patterned Picture Perfect Party DSP for my next layer, which is cut at 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″.

Once I had my layers together, I took a piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock and cut it down to measure 2 3/8″ x 2 3/8″. I then adhered my square to the bottom right corner of my card. Next, I took a piece of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the candles from the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set using the following ink pads: Bermuda Bay, Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst, and Peekaboo Peach. I then decided to cut it into a square using my Stiched Shapes Framelits Dies and Big Shot. After, i ran it through the Big Shot, I layered it on top of the Bermuda Bay square on my card, as you can see in the picture.

For the sentiment, I took a scrap piece of Peekaboo Peach cardstock made a little banner with my scissors and stamped “Happy Birthday” from the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set in Bermuda Bay ink. I used some dimensionals and adhered it to the card.

What do you think? Is this a card you would make? Give it a try a leave a comment with a picture of your card.

Have a great day,
